Technology Explainer Video

At DCS the Information &Communications Technology (ICT) department requested an explainer video that delves into the current state of technology. I created a detailed storyboard, which I then presented to the department for approval.

Once I received their sign-off, I proceeded to iterate through the project using the SAM Model to ensure that we were meeting all the required objectives.

To bring the visuals to life, I used Vyond, and for the narration, I employed AI text-to-speech technology. Overall, I am pleased with how the project turned out and believe that it will serve as a useful resource for educating our team and stakeholders on the latest developments in the technology space.

As a component of the launch of a recently developed Learner Experience Platform (LXP), I crafted a captivating video with the aim of visually stimulating the audience.

My primary responsibility was to conceive an aesthetically pleasing piece that moves at a swift pace, while adhering to the color palette and font specified in the Style Guide. The yellow ball serves as a symbolic representation of the learner's journey, and the application of Kinetic Typography facilitates the seamless flow of information throughout the video.

Information Video

In this video, the Lerner Management System (LMS) is presented as an easy-to-learn tool. To make the information more relatable, a character and story are used for personalization. This approach makes the content more easily understood.

The video was posted on Microsoft Yammer and view by over 3000 staff, as a result we saw an uptick of about 20% more traffic to the LMS.

Promotional Video

As a way to promote continuous learning among the staff and encourage them to "Expand their Learning Horizon," I created a multimedia package that included this video as a communication tool. This package was distributed on a monthly basis, featuring a 3-part video series, and staff were encouraged to engage in the initiative through Yammer.

This is the first video of a 3 part sequence that was rolled out monthly, we saw a lift in engagement numbers to LinkedIn courses due the promotion.
